More Updates for June

Summer has only begun and I already feel like there's lots to update. First off we had to say farewell to a girl that is like another sister to me. Max lived with my parents for a year while with an exchange program and she has fit in so perfect with our family. I will miss her so much but I am so grateful to have gotten to know her. I hope she learned as much from us as we learned from her. Love you Max and hope to come visit you in Spain one day:)

All the girls the day before she left:(

Back in April me, my mom, my sister, cousins, and aunts all ran the Realy section in the Ogden Marathon. And although I just ran the relay section it was still an accomplishment and maybe just maybe someday I will run a full marathon. (Highly doubt it though:) The race was very special to us all, we ran for my sweet nephew, Daniel Mark Jones. He passed away Thursday, May 19th and we ran the race a couple days later Saturday, May 21st. It was easy to keep going having him as our motivation. My mom, who is the most proud grandma there is, demolished everyone's times and ran the fastest she ever has. She said all she thought about was baby Dan. We sure miss our Miracle Dan but are so grateful he blessed our lives. We feel so lucky to know such a perfect angel.

Happy Birthday Hubby!

This last week has been filled with Brithday celebrations for my sweet hubby. He is 27 years young:) I love him more and more everyday and I'm so thankful he is in my life, he deserves nothing but the best on his birthday... so I made him the best present ever: Fruit Pizza

We started the celebrations off by going to Goodwood on Friday night with some close friends. Nash picked Goodwood because of their chicken sandwhich:) Then on Saturday Nash's dad threw him a BBQ in the afternoon. It was lots of fun and we were able to see our cute neice and nephew. After a nice long nap we did a little shopping (Nash's kind of shopping which is at the sports stores only lol) and then went to Cold Stone for some ice cream with friends. We ended the night by playing some cards at Lance and Malena's. Thanks guys it was lots of fun. The weekend parties ended on Sunday with a BBQ at my parents house for Nash and Lindsay's b-days and Max's going away party. I hope Nash had as much fun as I did this weekend. I sure love birthday celebrations!

I also wanted to give a birhtday shout out to my wonderful sister Lindsay. Hope you had a good birthday Linds. I love ya lots and think your one of the bravest and strongest women I have ever met. I know that Dan is looking down on you and feeling so proud and lucky to call you his mom:)

CALI & VegAS!

Back in April Nash and I went to Cali and Vegas. My parents have a foreign exchange student from Spain living with them and they wanted to take her to a couple different places before she leaves and we tagged along. I had never been to Disneyland or Vegas with Nash so it was fun to experience those places together. The first couple days we spent in Vegas and Max (the foreign exchange student) absolutely loved it there. Everything about Vegas was amazing to her and I found it a little funny because I have been there so much that I just dont think of it like that. But none the less she could not get over it and she said she will be going back to Vegas when she turns 21! After Vegas it was off to Cali where we spent most of our time at Disneyland and the beach. I love the beach and I am already wanting to go back there. Overall the trip was lots of fun and I am glad we could take a little vacation.

Halloween, Birthday, and Wedding

The last few months have been so busy but so much fun as well. We have been working lots and of course playing sports. I am on a couple indoor soccer teams and when I get lucky Nash subs and plays:) He also finished up flag football in the fall and now is playing church basketball. Another activity that keeps Nash busy is school. I am so grateful for his dedication to getting an education. I never had to work full time and go to school so I can't imagine how hard it is but all I know is I am sure proud of him:)

This year for Halloween we went to my brother and sister-in-laws halloween party. It was lots of fun and Fin even got to come. He was the cutest mailman/dog ever...

For my Birthday my sweet husband surprised me with tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance concert. I watch the show ever year but have never been when they have come to Utah on tour. I absolutely loved it. By far the best present I have ever gotten.

Also one of my good friends Nikki got married the beggining of December. I had the honor of being in her wedding line and the whole day was beautiful. She married a great guy and I could not be happier for her. I wish her nothing but the best in the future!!!

And of course I have to end with one more picture of my sweet little baby. Oh how I just love him so much...

Introducing..... FinLeY!!!

Meet Finley the new edition to our little family. We already love him so stinking much, even though sometimes he is naughty:) We got him in October from a lady up in Idaho, he is a "Morkie" a mix between Maltese and a Yorkie. For the most part he is a really good puppy and he is already potty-trained(thanks mostly to Nash, he is so patience and persistent with Fin ha ha) He also is starting to learn tricks; he can sit and shake. He is still getting use to his name and thats the next thing we need to teach him is to come to his name but overall he is a good puppy and we are so glad we got him. We debated for awhile if we should get a dog because we both are busy right now and if we were to get a dog we wanted to make sure he would be loved and played with enough. After thinking about how much real time we had to play with him and also asking my mom if she could watch him sometimes we decided to. We owe a HUGE thanks to my mom for always watching him and taking care of him. THANKS mom your the best!!!! Here are just a few pics of him:

I put this one in here to show how small he was when we first got him.

I just love him so much! One of these days I will get around to updating everything else in our lives:)

Update for 2010 so far....

Life has been busy the last few months for Nash and I. We have been busy decorating and painting our townhouse on top of school, work, and playing sports. Here is a little update on the both of us:
Nash:

He is still going strong with school. He goes to night school so he can work full time during the day. I am so proud of him and grateful for all the sacrifices he makes for us. Football will be starting up for him I just hope it gets warm soon so I can go to his games cuz I sure hate the cold:(
Chelsie:

I finally found a job about three weeks ago. I work for KSL for the sales department. So far the job has been a huge learning experience for me. I was a little frustrated at first but it is becoming more and more enjoyable the more I understand it. and...... I am definitely grateful to have job. I am also still teaching at my moms studio twice a week and i am still lovin' it.
Although it has been hard getting use to a full time job and for the first week I would come home and just crash ( pretty sad I know) we still have had time for a few fun things.....

Playing with the Fam at Bondocks

Side note: I love my little sis Rilee. Notice how she has her ankle wraped. she said it hurt and wraped it her self and then went and played the soccer arcade game:) she is just the cuttest.

Our favorite arcade game.... we have to play it everywhere we go

Jazz game

If we were rich we would for sure get season tix we love the JAZZ!

And last but DEFINITELY not least Red Mango oh how I love it
