Baby Harper is here!

Harper Nean was born November 5th, 2012.  A day I will never forget and a day I will always be grateful for.  It all started Sunday night November 4th (my birthday) we checked in to the Davis Hospital.  I went in Sunday to get started since my DR was going out of town in a couple days and I wanted her to deliver our baby.

After giving me some medicine to soften my cervix we were told to sleep until the next morning although we both couldn't really sleep, to excited and nervous! The next morning my water was broke and later that morning I received the epidural.  I progress slowly and never thought I was going to be fully dilated.  I stayed at a 4 for almost the whole day and then at about 5 I progressed quickly and by 6:30pm I was dilated and it was time to push.  Our sweet princess was born at 6:45pm weighing 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches long.

I will never forget those first few moments with our little girl.  As she was placed on my chest I remember her sweet face and how she looked at me.  She knew I was her mom and I have never been so proud and so in love.  I can't even describe the love I have for her and how it changed the moment she was born.  She knew who I was and she knew who her dad was.  Nash and I both just stared at her and couldn't believe we were so lucky to have her as ours.

Shower TIme for the Baby!

Last weekend I had my first baby shower.  It was so much fun and everything was absolutely PERFECT! So much work was put into it and I cant thank my aunts, mom, sisters, and cousins enough for everything they did. They did an awesome job on the whole thing and the decorations were the cutest ever! As you can see from the pics they did the shower colors in baby girls nursery colors: Yellow, grey, and coral

Here are my wonderful aunts who put this whole thing together:
Tammy, Sharon, me and Kris

 Some of the cute presents:

I was lucky enough to have 2 diaper cakes at the shower:

1. cute monkey on motorcycle done by my cousin Amy and her cute kids

2. diaper cake done by my crafty sister Day

Another thing my crafty sister made was this adorable tutu! can't wait to see it on Baby girl
Here are the adorable decorations that made this shower look so great! Couldn't have been any cuter!

I really can't thank my aunts enough.  It was such a beautiful shower and I feel so blessed to have so many people already love this little girl so much! Thanks to everyone that came and for your sweet gifts.  I know she will love them I definitely do!

Belly's getting Big!

Last week I decided kind of last minute to get a few maternity pics done.  I was hesitant at first because lets be honest you don't really feel like getting your picture taken when you plump up:) But I figured I need to document my belly and would want the pics down the road.  Thanks to my sweet sister Daylan for helping me with my wardrobe and my wonderful friends Haylee and Baylee for taking the pics and providing the background.

I can't believe she will be here in less than 7 weeks.  Nash and I are getting so excited and I'm getting a little nervous as well. There has been a few nights when we have been home just hanging out and Nash has said, "I really wish our baby girl was here right so I could hold her and snuggle her." He is going to be such a great dad!  Here are a few of the pics from our little photo shoot:

Happy News

Nash and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting a little one! I am about 22 weeks right now and feeling much better than I did the first 16 weeks:)

The First 16 weeks:
I was pretty nauseous but never threw up (although sometimes I thought it would make me feel better if I could throw up).  Besides being sick sleep was my new best friend.  I was always tired and poor Nash would get so bored after work because all I would do it sleep.  Sometimes I would fall asleep around 7 or 8 and tell him I was just going to take a nap and before I knew it, it was morning time.
We told our families we were expecting when I was around 9 weeks pregnant.  We told them on Easter and filled an Easter Egg with a little note that said, "A little one is hatching, coming Nov 2012" Everyone was so excited and it made it feel that much more real.  The first couple weeks we were so excited but still so shocked that we were going to be parents.
Love:
-Sleep
-BBQ Chips
-Otter Pops
-Still fitting into my clothes (that's long gone now:)
-and of course the sweet baby inside me!

16 Weeks to Current 22 Weeks:
Around 17 weeks is when I started feeling better and like food again.  I wasn't sure if I was ever going to like food or even be able to stand the smell of things but sure enough it changed:)
We found out around 16 weeks that we are having a ...

Everyone eating their cupcakes to see what Color the filling is... Pink or Blue

PINK!!!
BABY GIRL

From the the very beginning Nash just knew we were having a girl.  I wasn't really sure what I thought the baby was nor did I have a preference I just wanted a healthy baby.  Sure enough though Nash was right.  We are still trying to decide on a name and hopefully we will have one picked out by the time she comes.
Love:
-still Sleep
-Hamburgers
-finally like Chocolate and ice cream again:)
-Feeling our sweet girl kick like crazy
-Listening to Nash talk to our baby girl

We really do feel so blessed that we have been given this opportunity to raise a child.  While we are both very nervous and little scared we are beyond excited to meet our little princess.  I know she will have her daddy wrapped around her little finger and I can't wait to watch it happen:)

Love me some CALI

Back in January we went to Newport Beach and were lucky enough to stay with my cousin Shanielle. She has a house right off the beach and it was absolutely amazing. We had so much fun and it was nice to just get away and relax. We did lots of fun stuff and even got to watch a seal give birth:) Overall it was such a great trip and I am so glad I got to go with my best friend!

Nash's favorite part of the trip: Seaside Donuts
We loved riding the bikes we rode them everywhere!!!

Here is the seal we watched give birth . It was crazy we just were in the right place at the right time.

We got to do a little "surfing" at the wave in San Diego. So much fun but so sore the next day~
Loved to be able to actual see the SD temple in person absolutely beautiful.
My Cousin's cute house

And if my cousin didn't spoil us already she got us tickets to the Clippers Game so fun!

And to end the trip I have to show this pic. Nash loved that he was feeding the squirrel. There was a group of Asians that gathered around him and took pics of him feeding the squirrel. It was hilarious.

Thanks again Shaneille for the awesome trip. Hope we can come back soon:)
